The lyrical charm of the trio is felt in the exuberant posture of the male figure, piping a mystical, and we sense, uplifting tune; while his companions join in the music and the dance, with a frolicking, unselfconscious joy. The Trumpeter, with the breeze ruffling her hair and skirts, blows an elegant trumpet held between delicate fingers.
